Why Use Type 409 & Type 439 Stainless Steel Stock Products?

Type 409 and 439 stainless steel grades of sheet, blanks, bar, coil, strip coil and plate from Straub Metal provides an economical alternative to other types of stainless steel. T409 and T439 stainless steel grades are easy to weld, have greater corrosion resistance than high-strength carbon and galvanized steels with forming characteristics similar to carbon steel. Straub Metal also stocks T439 stainless steel, an alternative to 409 stainless steel which contains increased amounts of chrome for improved corrosion resistance.
